Final Touches to Lab Set-up

Lab members have been working hard to ensure the lab is ready for participants and today we checked off the final box in lab set-up! Stim-Trak and the photo sensor from Brain Vision were used to ensure our triggers and images on the monitor are being presented at the correct time . The photo sensor measured changes in the monitor that could produce discrepancies in the data in the end where as the Stim-Trak records all stimulus (in our case auditory) and allows you to ensure that the when the stimulus is being presented there is no lag in when it is actually heard through the headphones.

It is always a good idea to check this out before data collection starts incase you need to adjust the program files to match what you intend to measure.
